Using pinch, modeling and coils, the head and torso will be formed. These pieces will hold metaphors that could be expressed by mark making, use of color or additive parts. Demos will include ways to construct, detail information on facial features, and a painterly approach on the surface.
The workshop fee includes 25 pounds of red sculpture clay, surface treatment, firings and three lunches at the studio. Lunches are a combination of Northern New Mexican food and healthy salads.
