In this workshop, we will work solid and with coils to express an interesting figurative form. This form should have a personal connection with you. Do research and bring images of interesting seated figures. Think about symbolism and metaphor. The surface will be treated before the bisque firing with engobes and underglazes.
The workshop fee includes 25 pounds of red sculpture clay, surface treatment, firings and three lunches at the studio. Lunches are a combination of Northern New Mexican food and healthy salads.
